This CD has many catchy tunes and still has a classic King's X sound.It's hard to believe Doug Pinnick is (or almost is) 60 years old.Noah
if you like King's X, you also ought to get the Galactic Cowboys (RIP), whom King's X palled around with. I wonder when these guys are going to release an album again. this is one band where an African-American (Doug Pinnick) makes a contribution to the hard rock. 2, which is entitled "Blue", they sound like the Smithereens collided with the Beatles. this release, XV is hard and melodic at the same time. King's X is a hard rock/ progressive metal trio out of Texas. they sound like a rockier version of the Beatles.however on song no. other bands are God Forbid, Killswitch Engage, Suffocation, and 24-7 Spyz.
I would always recommend seeing them live, then you can witness Dug playing a lead bass riff that is counter to the lead vocal he is singing and all three band members singing the chorus on track #1 Pray, this was quite an amazing thing to witness. If your not familiar with King's X pick up this album and jump on board. for tour dates.King's X will never get the recognition they deserve, but you can help by picking up this CD. This album is jam packed with solid tunes from a fantastic band. If you like King's X you won't be disappointed. check out [.].
Give it a listen, you won't be dissapointed. The song are short and soooo sweet. Been listnening to these guys since I first heard Gretchan goes to Nebraska. This is a good solid job by the boys. Saw them perform about three weeks ago and they did quite a few songs from this CD, the tunes really translate well, live.

After having followed kings x long and distinguished history of self styled musical enchantments, we now listen in on XV and can now be elated to have seen these 3 men still creatively energized and writing songs that can still make us so happy they are together. Over the years, they have redefined themselves by exploring new musical genres, each time, adding to their legacy as a band never content to spew out more of the same musically or even to appeal to the commercial hit lists. A treasurehouse of musical and lyrical elation.
